The Bombay Orthopaedic Society (BOS) Outreach Program is a unique initiative aimed at extending academic
excellence and fostering stronger engagement with orthopaedic surgeons across Maharashtra and India. The
program serves as a platform for knowledge dissemination, professional collaboration, and capacity building
at the grassroots level.
During the academic year 2026-27, BOS will conduct a series of outreach programs in eight cities, focusing
on contemporary orthopaedic practices, case-based discussions, surgical techniques, and evidence-based
management strategies. These programs will bring renowned faculty and experts closer to practicing surgeons,
postgraduate students, and young consultants, facilitating meaningful academic interactions and mentorship.
The Outreach Program reflects BOS’s commitment to making high-quality orthopaedic education accessible to a
wider audience while strengthening professional bonds within the orthopaedic community. Through these
focused academic initiatives, BOS continues to promote learning, collaboration, and excellence in patient
care & establish its position as leader in Orthopaedic education in the country.
