This is a prestigious competition for newly qualified and budding young orthopaedic surgeons who are BOS Members. The Rising star enables and offers the member an opportunity to shine among the senior colleagues of the society and present infront of the August gathering of orthopaedic surgeons The competition involves a presentation on a topic of the subspeciality chosen by the member and subsequent question and answers on the presentation. Screening of the applicants and the qualifying rounds will take place in the weeks preceding WIROC and the final 6 applicants will be chosen to present at WIROC and the winner will be chosen by a jury.
Last date for application is 30th September 2024 and registration for WIROC is mandatory
