Dear Orthopaedic Colleagues from the Bombay Orthopaedic Society (BOS) from all over India & from
across the Globe,
It is with great honour, immense pride and a deep sense of responsibility, that I assume the
role of President of this
august body, the Bombay Orthopaedic Society, that all of us love so dearly. I am humbled by your
trust and excited to
embark on this journey alongside each one of you.

These words, though from a rock ballad about time gone by, somehow carry the exact sentiment I
feel
as we step into the 60th year of our beloved society.
They remind us of our youthful energy, our
memories filled with purpose - and they point not just to what was, but to the promise of what
still can
be.
As we reflect on six decades of academic excellence, camaraderie, and pioneering contributions,
I feel deeply honoured and humbled to serve as the secretary of this august body, right at the
cusp of
this remarkable milestone.
