SELECTION CRITERIA

Selection Criteria for Instructional Courses

  • A duly completed application form, along with full payment of the course fee, is mandatory for consideration.
  • Candidates applying for multiple courses must submit a separate application form and payment for each course.
  • Preference will be given to Life Members of the Bombay Orthopaedic Society (BOS).
  • Submission of valid Registration Certificates, MBBS Degree Certificate, and Postgraduate Degree Certificate in Orthopaedics is compulsory.

ONLINE PAYMENT GATEWAY

A facility for making digital payments to BOS is available through the website �. Members opting for online payment may be subject to a non-refundable convenience surcharge. The applicable surcharge, if any, will be clearly displayed at the time of billing and payment.

OTHER METHODS OF PAYMENT

  • Demand Drafts and cheques payable at par in Mumbai, drawn in favour of “Bombay Orthopaedic Society”, must reach the BOS Secretariat at least 30 days before the commencement of the course.
  • Outstation cheques and cash payments will not be accepted.
  • The course fee does not include travel, boarding, lodging, or accommodation expenses in Mumbai.
  • Spot registrations, if permitted, will be accepted only through digital payment modes and solely at the discretion of the Course Convener.
  • The Bombay Orthopaedic Society reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel any course or program due to unforeseen circumstances.

CANCELLATION & REFUND

Delegates must send a written cancellation notice to the BOS Secretariat to cancel their registration if so desirable.
If cancelled 1 month or more before course starts then 15% of the course fee will be deducted.
GST & Conveyance fees paid are non-refundable and separate from this deduction. If cancelled less than 1 month before course starts then no refund will be issued. If candidate is not selected for the course, then 100% refund of course fee will be given. GST & Conveyance fees still won’t be refunded. The refund will be processed online only after the respective course is completed.
BOS is not liable if a candidate cannot attend due to any unforeseen incident, natural or otherwise.

COURSE CHANGES & LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

BOS or its Executive Council will not be liable for any financial losses arising from a course cancellation. This includes travel, accommodation, and logistical expenses. These costs will not be reimbursed.
Please note that any BOS course may be cancelled, postponed, or have its program altered/modified due to unforeseen circumstances.

COURSE CERTIFICATES

Delegates will be provided with E-Certificates for courses conducted by Bombay Orthopaedic Society. The certificates can be downloaded from BOS Website (www.bombayorth.in) Each delegate will be provided with a unique username and password. Once logged in, delegates will be able to see a list of all the courses they attended. Option to download E-Certificates will be activated ONLY after submitting the feedback for respective courses.
