POSTGRADUATE TEACHING COURSE (2024-2025)
This course is a flagship activity of the Bombay Orthopaedic Society and it is
considered as the backbone of orthopaedic teaching since its inception. The
course is conducted in the form of 6 to 8 half-day sessions of case presentations
by postgraduate students of MS and DNB. The faculty includes postgraduate
teachers, senior members and experts of various sub-specialities.
We hope to continue the same teaching format in the current academic year and plan to hold the sessions at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, Sion.

Venue: | Wednesday of a month; 03.30 pm to 05.30 pm. (Paediatric Orthopaedic cases only), about 6 to 8 Clinics in a year Sion Hospital, LTMMC and Hospital, Mumbai One Sunday of a Month (excluding 1st Sunday); 09.00 am to 01.00 pm 6 Clinics in a year |
Cases: | General Orthopaedic short cases, Hip and Spine long cases. About 100 Candidates per session |

Nil. Candidates have to be registered with Vama Events with their mobile phone numbers and any change in timings or extra clinics will be informed to them.
Tea and snacks will be provided during the class. |
Course Highlights: | Long and short cases presentation. In continuing further, the teachings of the Late Dr. J. C. Taraporvala, Post-Graduate students pursuing their MS, DNB, D.Ortho and FCPS exams will get practical knowledge of case presentation, discussion and logical conclusion on their case. |
